PVF logoPVF Scholarship Fund
The PVF Scholarship Fund was created in 2001 following a decision to consolidate 6 separate scholarship funds established in honor of former leaders of the PVMA into one fund. Once the decision had been made to consolidate the funds into a new scholarship, guidelines were developed based on the criteria set forth by the former funds.

NAVS logoNative American Veterinary Services (NAVS)
Native American Veterinary Services (NAVS) is a division of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Foundation. Through the efforts of volunteer veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other assistants, NAVS provides free veterinary care for Native Americans living on reservations throughout the United States. Started in 2001 by Dr. Ted Robinson, NAVS has grown from a few volunteers visiting one reservation into dozens of dedicated veterinary health professionals who travel to numerous reservations. Annually, there are two trips, one in the spring and one in the fall. Participants may spend 1-2 weeks at the reservations depending on their individual time allowance and NAVS’ needs.

Memorial Gift Program
What better way to honor or remember a client’s pet or loved one who has recently passed away than with a memorial gift contribution to the Pennsylvania Veterinary Foundation through its Memorial Gift Program. Each memorial tribute to a client’s pet or loved one is acknowledged with a thank you letter to you and a letter to your client acknowledging your generous donation. To participate in the program, you may request memorial gift cards from the PVF office or you may use the online memorial gift area. Replacement cards can be obtained by calling 1-888-550-7862.

TLC logoThe Last Chance Fund (TLC)
Our “TLC” stands for The Last Chance Fund and “tender loving care” because that is what we strive to offer for animals who may not get any care at all without this fund. PVF established our “The Last Chance Fund” (TLC) in 2009 to help ensure a source of funding for the care of abused or neglected, unowned companion animals that might otherwise be euthanized or surrendered to an animal shelter that is already overburdened. The TLC Fund is a true partnership between veterinary practices, their clients, other pet owners, and the animal loving public that will result in the emergency care and necessary treatment of animals who might not get the proper care without this fund.
